Before Us, draws from photographs, Bibles, handwritten notes, newspaper clippings, books and other family artifacts to explore my families’ past lives. With these vintage fragments, I explore the people who came before me, the things we leave behind and the ghosts we all carry. This evolving series acknowledges the spirits that quietly remain with us.
